Overhaul of rooms to place children's city around-the-clock emergency trauma station in structure of SPb SBIHC "St. Mary Magdalene Children's City Hospital №2"
Was made major overhaul in rooms of the ground floor of the previous building with complete redevelopment, disassembling and construction of new wall stuctures, strengthening of architectural constructions.
Performed general consruction and engineering works in rooms with total area of about 400 sq.m.
During the project realization, were taken innovative solutions for finishing works in order to preserve unique architectural features of the building: vaulted overlaps and arched windows.
Performed the complete replacement of all engineering networks. All communications are hidden behind the walling.
During the major overhaul were organized the following rooms: observation, procedure, treatment, bandaging, gypsum, sanitary, staffrooms and dayrooms. Also was organized modern X-ray room which provides the protection from X-ray radiation. All rooms on the quality of execution and the level of equipment meet the latest requirements of both Russian and European standards.
For patients with limited mobility at the entrance to the emergency trauma station was installed elevator, as well as orginized special bathroom.
Within the project realization were implemented interesting design and planning solutions in compliance with the technological process. For comfortable stay of young patients, in the interior of emergency trauma station were used bright colors and colorful decorative elements, and also made non-standard functional lighting using LED strips and lamps, organized recreation zones and playrooms.
In the new emergency trauma station recreated positive atmosphere and provides everything that children do not feel in the hospital atmosphere, which is certainly a positive impact on the effectiveness of treatment and rehabilitation of young patients.
