02.02.2016 in Children's city hospital of St. Mary Magdalene after major overhaul opened the first outpatient traumatology center for children in St. Petersburg. The new center provides day and night specialized primary care for children on the profile "Traumatology and Orthopedics" as well as "Pediatric Surgery", and in the future also rehabilitation services for young patients. The center is designed for 200 visits per shift.
The opening ceremony was attended by the governor Georgy Poltavchenko, he was one of the first, who evaluated the opportunity of the new department. The governor visited the center's rooms: observation rooms, bandaging rooms, staffrooms, day hospital wards, X-ray room, higly appreciating the quality of performed works and the level of technical equipment. Georgy Poltavchenko thanked all those who helped to realize this project.
Major overhaul in rooms of traumatology center was held in 2015 at the expense of the city budget. "StroiReanimatsiya" corporate group acted as the general contractor.
In the framework of the project was carried out major overhaul of the ground floor rooms of the old hospital building with a complete redevelopment, and also strengthening of architectural constructions. During the overhaul were implemented non-standard solutions for finishing works in order to preserve the unique architectural features of the building: vaulted overlaps, arched windows. All rooms of the new department comply with the latest requirements not only Russian, but also European standards.
According to specialists, the main thing in the new center is a positive atmosphere for the child. On the project in the new interior were realized interesting design and planning solutions in compliance with the technological process.
Here there is everything, that a little patient does not feel that he is in the hospital: bright unusual interior, decorative elements, non-standard functional lighting with LED strips and lamps, recreation areas and playrooms. All this will definitely help in successful treatment and rehabilitation.
